The Village Train

The Village Train is running.

Village Train LogoTickets are sold only at the three Ticket Points (red signs on the map below) from guide on the train, and at the Train stores in Molyvos Harbour and Petra’s Market.

If you have already bought a ticket, you can embark at any train stop.

Hop on and off hop at any stop unlimited times all day for only €10 per person.

Single round tour ticket €7.00 per person.

Children under 2 Free
People with disabilities and special needs 50% discount.

About Robin

We started visiting Lesvos such a long time ago we can't remember when. We simply fell in love with the island in general and Molyvos in particular. In 2005 we bought some land and tried to manage the building of our house from the UK. Holidays became site visits and our house was [mostly] completed in 2007. In 2009 we sold up in the UK and moved to Molyvos. This is now our home and we count ourselves amongst the luckiest of the lucky. I am a member of the Molyvos Tourist Association, providing photographs for their brochures and general publicity. Most of my time is spent on activities to encourage tourism or taking photographs of one of the most beautiful places on earth.

    We are thinking of taking the train from Petra to Molyvos 6th Oct.

    We have a leaflet but it shows two schedules. Please confirm which one we should use as we would like to know what the last time is to get back to Petra.
