The Ephorate of Antiquities of Lesvos has published the 2019 museum winter opening hours for the museums and archaeological sites it operates.
From 7 January to 28 February:
Open Days Monday, Wednesday-Sunday (Tuesday closed)
Opening hours 8:30 – 15:30
From 1 March to 31 March:
Open Days Monday, Wednesday-Sunday (Tuesday closed)
Opening hours from 8:30 to 16:00
The above days and hours of operation concern the following museums and archaeological sites:
- New Archaeological Museum of Mytilene
- Archaeological Collection of Eresos
- Archaeological-Folk Collection of Napis Lesvos (after consultation with the guards)
- Castle of Mytilene
- Castle of Molyvos
- Ancient Theatre of Mytilene (open from 1-2-2019)
- Vareltsidena Mansion in Petra
- Archaeological site of Klopedis (open Monday to Friday)
- Archaeological site of Thermi
- Temple of Messon
- Ottoman Bath “Tsarki Hamam” in Mytilene (open Thursday to Sunday)
- Ottoman Bath Lower Castle of Mytilene (open every Monday)
